A lecture about leaky wave antennas by a professor from Czech Republic
Jan Macháč, professor from Czech Technical University in Prague will deliver a lecture titled as “Substrate Integrated Waveguide – Base for Leaky Wave Antennas” on 21 May, at 10:30 a.m., at ETU “LETI” (Conference Hall, Building 5).
Jan Macháč will make a presentation on his research of leaky wave antennas based on substrate integrated waveguides (SIW). SIW antennas are planar structures and can be as easily manufactured as a standard circuit board. As a result, SIW antennas can be mass-produced at a low cost.
At the end of his lecture Professor Macháč will talk shortly about the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) within the organization.
The lecture will be delivered in English. Everyone is welcome to attend.
