28.02.2015

We invite everyone to the cafe of building 5 to celebrate the Oriental New Year  on February 19 at 18:00.

Residents of some countries, as well as adherents of the Buddhist religion are beginning to prepare for the New Year according to the lunar calendar. This New Year has no fixed date because it is celebrated in the first new moon of spring (between January 21 and February 21). The tradition to celebrate the New Year according to the lunar calendar exists in China, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Korea, Mongolia and other countries.

In 2015 meeting of the New Year (in China it is called the Spring Festival) falls on the night of 18 to 19 February.

Foreign students from countries of the East, Africa and Europe will perform at the festival. There will be performances both in Russian and in other languages - some students arrived recently and have just started to learn Russian language. In addition, our students from drama school will participate.
