Educational scientific center “Center of Technologies National Instruments” (CTNI) was created at Department of Computer Aided Design at SPbGETU "LETI".

Educational scientific center “Center of Technologies National Instruments” (CTNI) was created at Department of Computer Aided Design at SPbGETU "LETI".

Activity of CTNI will be carried out according to the contract with JSC “NationalInstruments Rus” signed on July 24, 2015.

 

Purposes of CTNI creation:

  • Improvement of training of students and graduate students in the directions of "Informatics and Computer Facilities", "Computer Technologies of Engineering"
  • Retraining and professional development of teachers of universities and specialists of the industry
  • Development of scientific researches and developments in the field of computer technologies of virtualization, data collection and design of built-in and cyberphysical systems with application of hardware-software means of National Instruments.

Aims of CTNI:

  • Organization and carrying out of courses for work in the field of graphic design of LabVIEW,  technologies of virtualization and hardware of National Instruments.
  • Development of educational practical works and lecture courses based on the National Instruments technologies.
  • Implementation of training of listeners for delivery of international certified examination of Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer, and carrying out of advanced training courses according to official training materials of National Instruments.
  • Carrying out of research and developmental works with the use of program and hardware of National Instruments.
  • Holding of Doors Open Days and fact-finding courses, publication of materials for acquaintance of a wide range of readers with work of CTNI, Department of Computer Aided Design and National Instruments technologies.
  • Introduction of innovative approaches in educational and scientific activity of Department of Computer Aided Design base for ensuring relevance of educational process and attraction to scientific work of students and graduate students.
