Students made acceptance speech and shared their impressions of our city. Many of them admired the architecture of St. Petersburg, especially cathedrals that are striking in their grandeur, and bridges unusual for many foreigners. One student noted the friendliness of residents of St. Petersburg which is particularly noticeable in summer. Of course, foreign boys could not enhance the beauty of Russian girls.
Summer School of intensive teaching of Russian as a foreign language is carried out on the basis of our university since 2011. The course lasts for 4 weeks and includes 5 days of training, one day of cultural program and one day off. Visit of Summer School helps students to renew and widen their knowledge, to prepare them for understanding of scientific speech and terms, to feel comfortable in unknown country and go through social and cultural adaptation.
