On May 15-16, 2017 the visit of representatives of the Beijing Polytechnical Institute (China) to ETU «LETI» took place. At a working meeting LETI was represented by Vice-Rector for International Affairs Victor A. Tupik, Head of Department of Academic Mobility Maria A. Kiselyova, Head of Department of Television and Video Engineering Nikolay V. Lysenko, assistant of Department of Quantum and Optical electronics Dmitry N. Redka, specialist of Department of Academic Mobility Oksana I. Isaeva. Associate Dicrector of Office of Undergraduate Education Xu Jing, Associate Director of Office of Undergraduate Education Cao Fengmei, Vice Dean of School of Optoelectronics Huang Yifan, Professor of school of Mechanical Engineering Wang Yichun, Associate professor of School of Mechanical Engineering Li Yi, Division Manager of International Affairs Mao Yufeng were a part of delegation from the Beijing Polytechnical Institute.
On the meeting Vice-Rector Victor A. Tupik marked that ETU – is an international university where a lot of foreigners study. Participation in the project 5-100 helps the university in it. Moreover, ETU is actively involved in Bologna process, which is aimed on top of everything elso on developing of academic mobility of students. That’s why ETU «LETI» is always ready for new forms of cooperation.
The main purpose of the meeting was discussing of widening of cooperation between two universities, that has started in 1990. During the meeting questions on creating and realization of joint educational programs in the field of Optoelectronics and Audiovisual technology, stedents exchange, joint research projects. Participation of students in summer school of partner university.
The guest were shown the main activity of Department of Quantum and Optical electronics and Department of Television and Video Engineering. Partners exchanged plans of study and discussed possible problems of joint educational programs and ways of their solution.
In the end of the visit partner of the universities signed the protocol on intentions in which the main directions of joint activities of universities were reflected.
