LETI at the fifth anniversary of ASRTU
From May 24 to May 26, 2016 LETI visited Euroasian scientific and technical forum Aoshan and the Third next summit of ATURK dated to five-year anniversaryof foundation of ASRTU.
From May 24 to May 26, 2016 Euroasian scientific and technical forum Aoshan and the Third next summit of ATURK dated to five-year anniversary from the day of foundation of Association of Sino-Russian Technical universities (ASRTU) took place in Qingdao (China). "LETI" was represented by the Head of Department of International Relations Maria V. Pavlovskaya.
The main questions discussed at the forum ATURK were conjunction of Chinese concept "One belt – one way" and "The Euroasian economic union", influence of scientific and technical innovations on regional economic development, new open spaces for development of Russian and Chinese universities due to mutually beneficial cooperation, development of innovative economy due to the training, scientific and technical innovations.
Association of Sino- Russian Technical universities (ASRTU) is a non-profit organization created on March 6, 2011 on the base of Harbin Institute of Technology and Bauman Moscow State Technical University that unites the leading technical universities of two countries on a voluntary basis. The purpose of association is consolidation of efforts of elite technical universities of Russia and China in preparation of highly qualified personnel for innovative economy, assistance to the academic exchange of students and teachers, development of sci-tech cooperation between Russia and China.
ASRTU is located in the Blue Silicon Valley of Qingdao. National government of Qingdao and ATURK jointly signed "Declaration of Qingdao" within which the following is planned: consolidation of benefits of Harbin Institute of Technology and ASRTU member universities in the field of scientific researches, international scientific and technical resources, innovative production and regional economic development of Qingdao and demand for production upgrade; stimulation of updating and reshaping of production structures by means of scientific and technical innovative strategy; prompt development of regional economy.
