LETI students became winners in WorldSkills Russia

On April 2, 2016, students of the third course of Faculty of Computer Science and Technology Karina Petrova and Alexander Malina won the first All-Russian interuniversity championship «Young professionals» (WorldSkills Russia).

On April 2, 2016, students of the third course of Faculty of Computer Science and Technology Karina Petrova and Alexander Malina won the first All-Russian interuniversity championship «Young professionals» (WorldSkills Russia) on the competence of the "Internet of Things". The first intercollegiate championship is organized by the Union "Agency of development of communities and workers Worldskills Russia" in conjunction with the engineering University (MAMI) and supported by Ministry of education and science of Russian Federation.

Important part of the championship was a two-day business program, under which new methods for evaluating the application of competences in higher educationwere discussed, together with the use of technologies of WorldSkills for the assessment of compliance with professional standards. In addition, experimental tests of this type have already been hold in the first intercollegiate championship «Young professionals» (WorldSkills Russia).
