Modernization of LETI laboratories continues
Modernization of educational laboratory of technical electrodynamics of Department of Theoretical Fundamentals of Radio Engineering of Radio Engineering Faculty at "LETI" is finished.
Modernization of educational laboratory of technical electrodynamics of Department of Theoretical Fundamentals of Radio Engineering Faculty at St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI" is finished. Modernization is carried out under gratuitous assistance of CJSC "YE-International" - Russia's leading provider of electronic components and HF-products. The company, where a significant portion of specialists engineers are graduates of LETI, made this gift to the university in recognition of the training of qualified personnel and in connection with the 20th anniversary of its founding.
The faculty teachs students in areas of "Radio Engineering", "Design and technology of electronic means", "Information and Communication Technologies and Communication Systems" and on specialty "Radioelectronic systems and complexes". Due to the rapid development of the electronics it’s necessary to update laboratory facilities constantly. So in recent months of modernization of laboratory cycle of wave students training is carried out at the faculty. To implement this JSC "YE-International" donated modern measuring equipment of Mini-Circuits (USA) to the university.
On the eve of the official opening of updated laboratory representatives of JSC "YE-International" which was founded in 1994 in St. Petersburg and now is a part of famous Finnish company Yleiselektroniikka Oyj met with the leadership of LETI. During the exchange of views parties highly appreciated the long-term cooperation. It was noted that the supply of modern instruments and devices for laboratory facilities of the University are vital to the training of professionals, many of whom are working in JSC "YE-International", that contributes to the dynamic development of the company. Both sides expressed their firm belief that the mutually beneficial cooperation will continue to develop despite difficult international situation.
