Scientific practical conference "Nanoindustry and technologies of the future", which became the development of traditional ETU Conference "Entrant - Student", was held on April 25-26 at LETI.
Scientific practical conference "Nanoindustry and technologies of the future", which became the development of traditional ETU Conference "Entrant - Student", was held on April 25-26 at LETI. The conference was attended by pupils and students from St. Petersburg, Orel, Siktivkar, Leningrad and Vologda regions, as well as from Belarus and China.
Pupils interested in scientific research could participate. Subject of the conference was not only to reveal the most interesting topics for children in different areas of knowledge, but also to contribute to more meaningful and quality training of high school and college graduates for the upcoming delivery of the exam, the choice of the future profession and entering universities.
Organized by the Centre "Entrant" conference was aimed at finding future entrants of our University, creatively thinking young people who want to acquire knowledge and skills that are necessary for starting professional career at school. Therefore, the organizers did not restrict creative participants with certain topics - they were formulated by the participants in the following sections of knowledge: mathematics, physics, computer science, programming, chemistry, biology, environment, economy, business, science, history, social studies, foreign language.
Totally there were 121 reports presented at the conference. Within its framework a competition of scientific works was held. Jury, that consisted of teachers, students and graduate students, chose the best works.
Members of contest committees unanimously note that all participants picked, deeply thought out, thoroughly researched and vividly presented topical issues. The kids were invited to continue further research on these topics, and recommendations were given to them.
Guidance of Center "Entrant" thanks teachers for their work in preparing participants and leaders of all educational institutions, whose representatives participated in the conference.
