On February 11, 2015 at St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University regional stage of All-Russian contest “IT-breakthrough” was held. Works of students and graduate students were represented there. Authors of the projects that reached the final received certificates from the organizers and partners of the competition.

Alexander Gurov, Head of State Corporation "Rostech" in St. Petersburg, thanked "Roselektronika" for active participation in innovative projects of the region and expressed hope that cooperation in this field will be developed.

"Competition “IT-breakthrough” brings representatives from various fields of science and technology together, reveals the talents of young people in the sphere of information technologies", - said the Rector of LETI Vladimir Kutuzov.

Deputy Director General of holding "Roselektronika" Arseny Brikin noted the high level of preparation of LETI students. He expressed hope that in 2015 cooperation with the university will reach a new stage of development.

Student of Department of Physical Electronics and Technology Alexey Sidorenko received an offer of employment after the presentation of his project "Solid-state cooling system for elements of microprocessor technology in electronics". "Project introduced by Alex is highly relevant for our production. I am confident that with the help of our specialists it can be implemented in full, "- said Director General of JSC "SRI "Girikond" Kirill Karasev.

"IT-breakthrough" is a great opportunity to turn our idea into a business project, to make a statement about us at national level and to find like-minded people. We believe that such competition creates excellent conditions for development of students and young professionals, helps to find interesting job and get to know the real professionals,"- said Ivan Milnikov, who presented development of software and hardware systems for configuration and testing of microwave devices at the competition.

“IT-breakthrough" competition is held by the holding "Roselektronika" together with Softline annually since 2010 and is aimed at forming intellectual potential of young professionals in the field of information technology. Projects are assessed in six main categories: “IT in electronics”, “IT-security”, “IT in medicine”, “IT in education”, “IT in Energy” and “Telecom Idea - the best mobile application”. This year prize fund is 1.5 million rubles. Grand Prix winner will receive the opportunity to put your project on basis of one of the companies of “Roselektronika”.
