Over 30 specialists are involved in final three-day seminar which began on April 2 at ETU on training program "Maintenance and repair of medical devices".

Representatives from various regions of Russia will listen to lectures and will become participants of workshops which will help them to get knowledge not only in the main theme of the seminar, but also in the legal and regulatory framework for licensing maintenance and procurement of medical equipment. Organization peculiarities of interaction of service businesses and healthcare institutions in the maintenance of medical equipment, repair and metrological provision of medical equipment in hospitals.

Seminar will be given by representatives of the ETU "LETI", FGU "Test - St. Petersburg", St. Petersburg GUPTP "Medtech", ANO "Training Center "Medtech" and LLC "StroyReanimatsiya". For students from articulate areas of Russia, such as Omsk, Ukhta, Ekaterinburg classes are held in the format of webinars. Participants who went through facings of gained knowledge successfully will be issued relevant licenses by decision of certification commission.


The seminar was organized by the Institute of Continuing Education and the Regional Center for Integrated Medical and Technical Education of the ETU "LETI". Director of the RC IMTE Gennadiy N. Paharkov says: "Workshops on Maintenance and repair of medical devices has been held at the University since 2006. During this time more than two thousand people, representing 126 cities and towns of Russia, have advanced their skills. Professional’s interest in such classes is growing parallel to saturation increasing of medical facilities with modern medical equipment, extension of its complexity and its constant updating. It makes high demands to the teaching staff, but in the opinion of listeners  the program level meets their expectations fully".

It is the third seminar this year. In 2014 at least five such workshops are planned to be held.
