XV All-Russian Festival «PR - profession of the third millennium"
From 6 to 10 April at the ETU "LETI" jubilee Russian Festival "PR - profession of the third millennium" will be held.
From 6 to 10 April at the ETU "LETI" jubilee Russian Festival "PR - profession of the third millennium" will be held. XV Festival will bring together students of communication specialties from all over Russia and experts in PR, advertising and marketing.
The key topic is very current in professional community: "Communication for science: promotion of Russian technologies and scientific achievements."
On April 6 traditional conference "PR-breakthrough 2015" will take place. The conference topic of this year is consonant with the overall theme of the festival - "Communication technologies in the promotion of high technology projects". Within the framework of two sections participants will present reports devoted to Russian and foreign practice and promotion of innovative ideas and projects of modern means of communication. On the same day there will be a plenary meeting of the Student Conference, where Manager on training and development of SPN Communications Helen Brandt, director of Department of communications projects SC "Rosatom" Andrey Ivanov and other invited guests of the Festival will perform.
The main event of the week is drawing of Student Cup "PRizvanie" that will start on April 7 with general information about the project from the general partner of the Festival. Within a few days students will work on a briefcase "Creating operator together" from the Russian telecommunications company «YOTA» in the form of professional workshops.
On Wednesday, April 8, the main cultural event of the Festival is PR-quest on the sightseeings of St. Petersburg will take place. Organizers of the quest, students of "Public Relations" of LETI, will acquaint paarticipants with the northern capital. Of course, the quest will not be limited by the excursion: during the event they will have to solve the task of our partners. In the meantime, within the walls of LETI faculty scientific-practical seminar «Public Relations - science, education, profession" will be held. Topic of this year is “From educational to professional standard”: problems and prospects". Participants of the seminar put the problem of this year to discuss the current trends in profession and education, as well as development of Russian market of PR-services.
Festival is not only difficult and interesting work, but also opportunity to get new and relevant knowledge from professionals. In the second, third and fourth days there will be traditional master classes from such guru communications as the Head of press service of Foundation for Internet Development Initiatives (FRII) Maria Lapuk, CEO of PR-agency Zebra Company Nick Zebra, Public Relations Director of North -West Branch of "MegaFon" Kerman Mandzhieva, advertising director of Comedy Club Saint-Petersburg Nina Ostrovskaya and producer of the project Stepan Pestryakov.
This year students had the chance to interact with leading specialists and experts in the field of business and communication personally, to learn about their methods of work and ask questions. Especially for the participants of the Festival organizers have prepared a new game-quiz «BrainUp». Participants will split into two teams and answer questions from 5 categories of professional knowledge. In case of victory students will go out for dinner with experts of Public Relations for getting experience from eye to eye.
In the first and last days of the event, on 6 and 10 April, opening and closing ceremonies of the anniversary of PR-Festival will be held in the assembly hall. The creative team will delight the guests and participants of the Festival with variety of vivid and memorable rooms, with a welcoming address by the university officials and representatives of partners of the event.
